Estate Planning
If you are a pet caretaker, the parent of minor children, have property that you care about, or are concerned about your health care treatment should you become incapacitated, you could benefit from a proper estate plan. Learn more about how estate planning can help you achieve your goals at our free seminars conducted by local estate planning attorneys. Please call (510) 845-7735, ext. 19, for more information.
Caretaker Program
Most often our beloved pets pass on before us, and it always feels too soon. But what would happen to your pet(s) if you were to die first? By participating in our Caretaker Program, you can be assured that your pets are sheltered until they can be placed in an appropriate and loving new home. When joining this program, you share your pet's unique information with us so that their quality of life is upheld after you are gone. Please call (510) 845-3665 for more information.
Tours of the Shelter/Adoption Center
We are always delighted to provide tours of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society. We consider ourselves much more than just a shelter and we'd love to show you why. Groups of children and adults are welcome and we are more than happy to accommodate student groups and after-school groups and clubs. If your group would like to schedule a tour, please call (510) 845-7735, x23, or email education@berkeleyhumane.org.
