Pet Food Pantry

Pet Food Pantry

Berkeley Humane's Pet Food Pantry program provides free pet food to low-income pet
guardians in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. One of the most common reasons for pet relinquishment is
financial difficulty, and the Pet Food Pantry aims to help struggling guardians keep beloved pets in their
homes. Since its inception in 2010, Pet Food Pantry has distributed over 7,000 pounds of pet food.

Our Pet Food Pantry program is entirely supported through community donations. Food is available for up to two pets on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer specific brands, formulas or flavors. Proof of income is required, and pets must be spayed/neutered.

Pet Food Pantry is held on the last Saturday of every month, 9-11AM.

Please come to Berkeley Humane's warehouse at 2700 Ninth St. Berkeley.

Community members with other needs may visit our resources section or view this document for additional information.
