PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support)/East Bay

Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society launched the PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support)/East Bay program in 2008 to provide support for the pets of low-income seniors, people with life-threatening illnesses, and people with disabilities in our community. By providing volunteer-based services and supplies to our clients, PAWS/East Bay aims to preserve the important human-animal bond and prevent relinquishment to shelters.

PAWS/East Bay relies heavily on volunteers and solely on donations in order to continue our important work.
